After a rough start the Lightning offense clicked for 21 points in the 3rd quarter to beat Mountain Range 31-7.In the first half the Lightning offense and defense sputtered thanks to 10 penalties for 85 yards. "I was getting very, very frustrated", Luke said of the first half. "I told the guys that we just have to keep our heads up and execute..."
In the third quarter the Luke and the offense did execute. Luke ended up putting up good numbers going 7 for 11 for 141 yards 1 TD and 1 Int.
Overall a good start for the Luke and the offense as they get ready to battle the rest of the Front Range league.
